​After returning to Brisbane in 1982, Bernie proceeded to work at three major coffee roasting companies for six years, two of which were spent as Queensland Sales Manager for one of these. Towards the end of this period, he had realised there was a strong need for specialty coffee and thus founded Arabica Coffee in 1988. Specialty roasting was new to Brisbane at this time, but customers quickly realised the superior quality of the product.

Prestige Organic was established in 2001, following the creation of the Arabica Coffee brand, purely focusing on the roasting and supply of 100% Arabica ACO certified  organic coffee. Our coffees are also fair trade certified, as the mission within our business requires  that each person from the farmers to the customers must benefit.

As the need for certified organic coffee within the industry has grown within recent time, we have recognized this opportunity to provide both retail and commercial consumers a product in which they will enjoy and a company in which they can trust in.
